    Q2 2023 Result

After constant adjustments leading right up to the last few days of the quarter, Troy Teslike reckons he missed by 3.9%. Conveniently measures his discrepancy against the total. Using this measure, odds are the % will get better as quarters get bigger. He should calculate from Q1 422,000. He...

    Other Modes for FSD

Official approval will need its stamp. However, within a year or two, we may have one million BETA FSD driving around with no technical interventions for months. Even now, there would be lawmakers using FSD, when the time comes to approve, they may not need a lot of convincing.

    Other Modes for FSD

I wonder how long driver training will last. It's like teaching a youngster in 1915 ... learn to ride the horse first, then we will get into the car.

10 millionth 4680 cell produced at GigaTexas

If they are building another 4680 facility near Freemont, to me it indicates they have settled on one of the two options they were testing. Could also mean they are satisfied with the current capacity to scale it out. I don't think they would move on out of desperation.

Ford/GM/Superchargers... the ELEPHANT in the room......

i think Tesla just designed the current charging stations to be as quick and as inexpensive to build as practical. Now as we enter the truck era, I am guessing a far larger % of future locations will be built to suit larger vehicles. We now have 5000 locations, when we get to 50,000 , maybe...

GM Adopting NACS Tesla Charge Ports on Its Vehicles Starting 2025!

Tesla will be producing ~3 million cars next year, and in addition apparently tells suppliers to plan for 375,000 CT's. Two new Megapack factories will be scaled up, and a Mexico factory on its way. Besides the fact the charging nework is already generating some funds, overall the cost of...

Ford EV will gain access to Tesla Superchargers and come with standard NACS ports starting 2025!

I think it was Teslike, or Merrit which posted this 12h figure ( or was it 13?) I have seen it oft repeated, .. One every 12hrs is ~730 stations per year. From the Investor Deck we can see 1202 stations built in 2022. We have also been told the network is growing about 30% per year, I...

    How old are you?

Australia is estimated to have ~30,000 orders. AU purchased 50,000 Ford rangers in 2022., plus other brands. We would be up there among the biggest markets outside of North America. I guess. I also guess, if the CT is ever exported, AU would be among the first.. I bloody hope

    How old are you?

I was 59 when I made my pre-order, complications following major surgery at the time confined me to my sofa for over a year. Gained 30 kilo's. Now I am in my early 60's. Go to the Gym, swim, bike. Been hard, but I have been so lucky in many ways. The CT has motivated me to seek a healthy...

Starship Orbital Test Flight - 4/20 Launch

Is that why Expanse is still on my IMDB watch list, its on the backburner. Twice over the years I've rewatched the first few episodes, it got interesting then lulled. It got superseded by new shows, and then nearly forgotten. But whenever I go through my list , I say "I should watch...
