Probably not. Right now I fill up once a week and cover about 360-400 miles in that time. If I am driving around the city on a 600-mile charge (I can hope) and I only get to use 60% normally, then I still have to charge every week, and when I tow or travel I can use more of the charge or need...
Cali? Really? Do we call Michigan 'Michi' or Massachusetts 'Massi' or Oklahoma 'Oki' (well, maybe), or Louisianna 'Loui'? Only people that don't live in California use that term. Its almost as bad as people that say 'Frisco'. Its like nails on a chalkboard (remember those?).
After all this talk I decided to see what the regulations are. Is it NHTSA 203? Did you all know that the NHTSA has issued an NPRM on changing requirements for self-driving cars?
There are a few issues with this one. It might be ok in a Corvette but for long-distance driving, backing up, or trailer moving the flat sides will be super uncomfortable. You'd almost be better off with a butterfly design (though that would be dangerous). It will likely be a full circle.
Is the paper peer reviewed? If so, then there must be something right about it. If not, and it is just a white paper he is throwing out on the internet, then these kinds of problems should shut him down. Thank you for the points. I was never saying I believe him, or the OP, but like any...
I donāt get the relationship but maybe thatās the point? If the test goes through, by independent and multiple international labs, then the world will rejoice. Otherwise it will probably chuckle.
The removal of the steering wheel will have to take place over time. Just trying to imagine it is a bit scary to me, even if the functionality was still there. Iāve lived my entire life with a friggen steering wheel in the car, and then suddenly nothing? Culture shock!
Yes, this topic has come up before, but thatās ok. I have been paying attention, lately, to how much wheel rotation is needed for turning, and it seems as though a 90-degree turn requires me to turn the wheel 180 degrees. It is also the case, when reversing and, in particular, when backing a...
I have to believe that if there are protesters outside Tesla Fremont it is more about politics than about substance, because protests are by and large political statements. That doesnāt mean there is no substance, it only speaks to the protest itself. If I am going to protest something, and put...
āCaliā? Who talks like that? I find it hard to believe that the poster is involved in the software industry as a developer, because the only developers that will move at the drop of a hat are contractors and they usually arenāt the best developers and certainly arenāt reliable. The term...
I have been shopping with my wife at Target in foster city. It sells everything, and people are wearing masks and staying 6ā apart. Why can Target and Costco be open and sell everything, and not all similar places? Tesla is highly automated so why canāt it open and maintain social distancing and...
