How about a 3/4 channel digital mirror with dedicated side and rear view cameras that show proper fields of view, use the light bar power source, and mount to the light bar?
I probably have to return the one I got. It is ‘ok’ but I was hoping for much more than ‘ok’. The worst is that my Duck Toller easily got from the back to the front despite the mesh.
I just got one of these but how do you get the window inserts into the door? There is a slot inboard of the windows that seems like the right location but the inserts do not want to go into the slot and I do not want to destroy my truck for a liner. Any advice would be appreciated (a lot)!
I don’t recall whether there will be a version that works with the seats folded up but that is what I am currently looking for. Like others, I am champing at the bit for the ‘right’ pet liner to become available: (1) one designed for the CT, (2) one where the door panels seat and work well, (3)...
I am actively looking for a solution for seats up or down.
- I would like to see something that keeps the top of the cover from sagging, both in the front and the back, as well as one that keeps the bottoms snug to the back and front, respectively.
- It is unclear from the pix how easily the...
The link for the cover doesn't seem to go to the cover page, nor was I able to find one on the site, but the other covers appear to be in the $225 range.
Can you at least put a flap over that rear display opening?
You never answered the question about how the 'base' is kept flat between the seats. Or is the rear seat assumed to be folded up?
It is covering the entire area between the back and front seats, and looks very flat, but of course there is a large opening there, so how is that accomplished in this design? For my money, if my dog is in the back I would want a protective cover over the rear display and no hole as shown...
My dog, Bud, gets in the car and basically sleeps while I am gone. No drool, hardly any shedding. Not like other goldens I have had. Very large dogs (St Bernards, Great Pyrenees, New Foundland, and similar)
You know, it was probably illegal in several states to put a child seat in the front...
That solves one problem, but I measured at the local Tesla showroom and a large dog crate will not fit on the floor even with the seats folded up because of the rear display console. A small dog bed would fit, but if one really wants the dog secure and comfortable some kind of platform would...
You should make a cover (not a screen protector) for that rear display. Maybe something that snaps over it, or something that can retract, for those of us that will not use it very often but want to protect it just the same.
There have been many evaluations of hydrogen-based fuel cell vehicles over the years. Apart from the volatility of hydrogen, the simple fact is that it takes electricity to produce hydrogen and that hydrogen is used to make electricity to power an otherwise electric drivetrain. So losses are...
