This is me. That's why I have the luxury of telling my Ford dealer to put me at the end of the queue.
By that time Ford would have resolved all the tech issues and I would have a feel of the secondary market for the F150 Lightning.
It looks like F150 Lightning will be first in market meeting their release goal this summer with the first 1,800 trucks.
They even have announced closing of new orders unless customers are willing to wait 2 years.
Still I told my dealer I'm not in a hurry and take my early next year after...
I really hope Cybertruck will be a lot better. As I said I'll be pulling an RV trailer, though not that heavy, but I don't want to be faced with that kind of nail biters and range anxiety as we go round the whole continental United States. Campgrounds and campsites are usually in high...
Been doing this kind of management on my 4runner pulling a nearly 5,000 RV trailer.
I might have to do the same on Cybertruck to extend range or be more efficient.
I'm one of those waiting for the numbers as my CT will be mainly towing an RV trailer.
But if the range in cut in more than half by the tow, I'm willing to shift to camper trailer.
Not that I'll be beating a path to their door with this superfast connection, but it is still silent on coverage (and promise of saturating the earth). And this is damn pricey even with the assurance handling bad whether well.
I'm repeating myself here. But unless Starlink can beam itself directly into your antenna and not rely on some earth-bound cell sites, it's nearly next to useless for me (I want to be able to do my computer dependent side-gig from out of the grid area while boondocking).
And of course, my...
I have a cheap China-made light bar on the roof of my truck. it suffered more than enough abuse from searing sun, rain, snow and sleet. It even got pounded when I load up lumber on my roof rack. It is still going strong it's 4 years.
That could be an open led strip similar to what I have...
As my friends used to joke our ridiculously yuge truck owning buddy. And he is an office worker.
The size of his truck is inversely proportional to the size of his manhood..
For the information revolution in our midst, Americans are still too lazy or too dumb to look and see the calculations of the comparative cost of ownership.
And the fact that EV ownership is also politicized.
Probably not as I always have road assistance cover.
I'm extra careful while camping and off roading but I may have to be pulled and towed in short distance in case I got stuck and have lost power/charge at the same very unfortunate time.
You'll get sicker with the fact that our troops with their lives on the line and our taxes are paying to patrol the Gulf for the smooth passage of Middle Eastern oil to the rest of the world.
Specially now that with resolve (politics and oil interest on the way) and tech, we can achieve energy...
But, but... QAnon said so, and remember, Biden lifted 3 million kids out of poverty so they can be healthy for Gates and Hillary/Dems pedophilia ring and child sacrifice,:devilish:.
Anyways, back to topic. I wonder why the long timeline for Toyota. It can't be technology as Japan itself is...
So Toyota is on two-pronged approach?
Fighting city hall meanwhile until they can catch up with their own EV?
#ApartheidElon's strategy has not so similar variation. I enjoyed the tax cuts to get early adoption of my Tesla cars, I want to deny others the same benefit.
