It’s true. Not great news. I’m sure they wouldn’t have been cut. I wonder why they weren’t rotated to SpaceX or X.ai, like they’ve been trying to do with the engineers when they get burnt out?
As much as I’m opposed to this nickel-and-dime mentality I get it from a business standpoint and if it can get me a cheaper Tesla I’m all for it. I’ve lived without heated seats and wipers for decades. You can’t miss what you’ve never had.
One of the many reasons that pedestrian fatalities have increased is that vehicles keep getting bigger and bigger, especially pickup trucks. If you’re hit by a sedan or a smaller car it’ll clip and probably break your legs. Your chance of survival is better than getting hit by a truck or SUV...
Won’t be available for order until October in China and Europe. The US will have to wait. No performance model listed yet, but they’re working on it.
Companies sometimes change things before there are complete solutions to justify those changes, like FSD. I think they do this to force themselves to innovate more rapidly. Apple does this, too. It doesn’t always work out.

Tesla will sell a $25K vehicle in the US at some point, even if it requires the $7,500 rebate at first. They’re not trying to be just a luxury brand. They want volume sales, hence slashing the prices of their current models (in-stock Model 3s are selling for around $37,000 before tax incentive).
I agree. Just pan around and show the rest of the parking lot. Was is full? ICEing only becomes shitty when there are no more charging stalls available, or someone is going out of their way to block an EV.
Side note, these people must be really hard up for something to do. Is Buc ee’s really...
