What material is this made from? Do we know if this will prevent the screen from venting properly? I really like this idea!

Possible feature: Create side panels that allow you to lock the lower area below the seat (and have a way to lock the entire unit into place to prevent theft).

For body repairs (cosmetics/straightforward body damage like a bent lift gate), do you really have to use a Tesla certified repair shop (for a Model Y)? We only have one in a 200+ mile radius of where I live and, unfortunately, I'm in the same situation.

I would add that the folks that I have personally run into that haven't heard of Tesla are typically folks that probably do not spend much (any?) time on the internet, so their Tesla ignorance is more understandable.

Tesla cannot currently meet the demand for their product. They have never run ads and until their supply can exceed demand, they really don't need it. With that said though, many people are still not aware of Tesla BECAUSE they have never seen any ads. There is definitely untapped market...

I honestly hate that this is happening. It gives the anti-EV crowd valid ammunition for not wanting to ditch ICE vehicles completely. I want to laugh at GM's response, well ok, I'm laughing at their response.
