    Starship Launch - Flight 3

It looks like when it came in and twisted on its side and couldn't recover from there. The plasma views on re-entry were spectacular. They lost telemetry and Starlink at the same time, so likely a RUD soon after. Apparently, there might of been an issue with the cold gas thrusters freezing up...

    Starship Launch - Flight 3

Live Re-entry video got me out of my seat! That was insane. Real life sci-fi! Still looking across the sky for the pretty fireworks! (I wonder why theres no location tracker)

    Starship Launch - Flight 3

Absolutely epic! Really needed this. Well done SpaceX. Booster - boost back burn, re-entry burn but just failed landing burn. Meanwhile, Starship in retro orbit, opened PEZ door. Next Raptor engine in vacuum test, re-entry!! I put some cushions out to soften the landing! :ROFLMAO:

    EVs are dead

Let alone that most hydrogen is made from methane (natural gas) in the first place. Better off using the methane in a fuel cell straight out without converting it and having to overcome the issues with boiloff etc and energy density and distribution. Bio-methane from biomass is the only RE...

    EVs are dead

That article is a bit of a oxymoron. It's still an electric vehicle, it's just that the electricity to drive the electric motor comes form a hydrogen fuel cell? Fuel cells are more efficient than most ICE hydrogen engines of that smaller size. Although apparently Toyota still thinks hydrogen...

Elon Musk announces Model 2 will be built in Germany at GF Berlin

(Artist impression) Haven't seen this posted here yet. Looks like EM announced to Tesla staff in Berlin this weekend that the Model 2 will be built in Giga Berlin. Starting price is 25,000 Euro. Apparently, they already have the building approvals to double the factory in Berlin to do so, so...

GFTX New Entrance - Inspired by QC Light Tunnels Inspection Systems?

I was thinking the first picture looked like a Plaid badge in 3D. I'm also wondering if the water feature up front is to demo CT amphibious mode. ?

The "Dutch Reach" and parallel parking safety!

The problem with that statistic, is that if it's speeding related, it's always speeding that gets counted first, but not the drinking that causes speeding in the first place. Just like the redonkulous flu claims of 2020, where if you get hit by a bus with the flu, you died of the flu and not the...

Pedestrian deaths in the US highest rate in 40 years

Best part is not taking part in idiocracy. Mind augmentation through mobiles also leads to disassociation with reality. On many, many levels. It's like the statistics of "speed kills", versus "drink drivers all speed" because they can't perceive relative motion properly when intoxicated. So...
